The dentist is responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums as well as other diseases affecting oral hygiene and retention of teeth. Specific duties of this position will include: (i) performing preventative dental examinations on patients; (ii) making diagnoses based on initial examinations and recommending treatment courses; (iii) treating tooth and gum diseases; (iv) treating diseases related to nerve, pulp and other dental tissue; (v) treating gum and teeth malformations; and (vi) treating teeth and gum injuries. Must have a MD in Dentistry and have a state license to practice Dentistry in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Must also have any experience with or knowledge of (through any completed university-level coursework, seminars, workshops, or real-world, hands-on experience) each of the following: (i) providing dental care for patients with physical and intellectual disabilities and Medical complexities, including behavioral and pharmacological management of treatment/dental procedures (i.e., exams, radiographs, cleanings, treatment planning, fillings, and extractions); (ii) various degrees of modifications to care, including transfer facilitation, behavioral or pharmacological management (i.e., oral premedication or nitrous oxide); and (iii) communicating with patients PCPs for comprehensive management and treatment while utilizing general anesthesia.

Your responsibilities would include: Answering phones, collecting co-payments, scheduling appointments, verifying insurances, appointment confirmations, and insurance billing. Expanded Function Dental Assistant- Multiple Locations
We are seeking qualified Expanded Functions Dental Assistants to join our fast-growing team. You will be responsible for assisting our providers in delivering quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a team environment, have a "can do" personality, and be able to complete their assigned work in a timely fashion. In addition, an EFDA must display open communication to co-workers and a commitment to patient satisfaction. Efficiently direct patient flow through teamwork and communication. Perform all necessary lab procedures. Always uphold a positive rapport with staff members and patients. Other duties as assigned. Travel may be required for coverage, continuing education, or staff meetings. Required Skills: EFDA’s must have current license and certification, including CPR.
